COVID-19 Updates
Effective April 12, 2021, all SEICAA offices will be open for public access with restrictions based on the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC’s) recommendations regarding COVID-19. In addition to social distancing and required face-coverings, at this time and until further notice SEICAA will limit the number of persons permitted to enter at any given time. Should the number of persons reach occupancy limits, SEICAA will respectfully ask that you wait in your vehicle or outside of the facility until safe entry can be assured. If you need to contact our office to make an appointment or to make arrangements for eligibility documents, please call your local SEICAA office. SEICAA thanks you for your continued commitment to the health and safety of other community members and for your understanding during this time.
Helping People. Changing Lives.
What is SEICAA?
Southeastern Idaho Community Action Agency Inc. (SEICAA) is a private non-profit organization that has provided a variety of services to low-income, disabled and elderly residents in the seven southeastern Idaho counties since 1969. SEICAA strives to alleviate the devastating effects of poverty through SEICAA’s active mission.
Our Mission
SEICAA is dedicated to providing opportunity and support for individuals and communities to thrive and reach their fullest potential, promoting self-sufficiency and greater economic independence through services, education, affordable housing and training.
What Sets Us Apart
Most poverty-related organizations focus on a specific area of need, such as job training, health care, housing, or economic development. SEICAA reaches out to low-income people in their communities, address their multiple needs through a comprehensive bi-annual Community Needs Assessment, develop partnerships with other community organizations, involves low-income participants in the Agency’s planning, and administers a full range of coordinated programs designed to have a measurable impact on poverty.
