SEICAA is searching for a Low-Income Sector Representative and a Public Sector Representative for the Board of Directors. SEICAA’s Board of Directors help the Agency develop action plans for combating poverty in SE Idaho. Meetings are scheduled every few months and can be attended virtually. These openings are volunteer positions.

Qualification Information

To qualify for SEICAA’s Low-Income Sector Representative opening, you must meet one of the following:
  • Live in a low-income area (51% or more of the households in the U.S. Census Tract have an income at or below 80% of the area median income, as defined by HUD);
  • Have a household income at or below 80% of the area median income for the area in which you live;
  • Have been elected by a “Low Income Neighborhood Organization.”
To qualify for SEICAA’s Public Sector Representative opening, you must be:
  • An elected official, holding office on their date of selection, or their representatives.
