Southeast Idaho Community Action Agency Inc’s (SEICAA) Board of Directors has named Shantay Bloxham as its next Chief Executive Officer/Executive Director of the organization.

Ms. Bloxham succeeds Debra Hemmert, who led the Agency with distinction for 19 years. Bloxham’s will start in her new position on December 1, 2020.

Ms. Bloxham is a native of Pocatello where she resides with her family; husband, Jake and their two children; Hunter and Pyper. Bloxham began her career with SEICAA in 2007. Throughout her tenure, she has held multiple leadership roles and has been instrumental in the incorporation and/or expansion of several programs and projects that have contributed to the overall growth and success of the Agency.

In conjunction with her work at SEICAA, she is heavily involved in the community, including serving on several other community non-profit’s Boards of Directors. Ms. Bloxham holds the distinction of being a 2018 recipient of Idaho State Journal’s “20 Under 40” award which recognizes individuals under 40 years old who’s accomplishments have positively impacted their work and community. Ms. Bloxham was also recently inducted into the National Society of Colligate Scholars and earned her degree in Liberal Arts.

“My goals include; working collaboratively with the staff and Board to ensure the programs and services created/administered under the organization’s umbrella are mission driven, and a firm commitment to working collectively as an Agency to continue to learn and understand of the causes and conditions of poverty in the communities, so as to remain in the best position to rise successfully with outcome focused solutions, that meet the various needs of the communities served under SEICAA’s umbrella.”
