Event Information
The Project Warmth Classic, formerly Project Warmth, is a charitable golf tournament hosted by SEICAA at the Oregon Trail Country Club in Soda Springs, Idaho. This year’s golf tournament is a four-person scramble tournament that benefits our Project Warmth Fund, an energy assistance fund, which has assisted eligible families in Bear Lake and Caribou County afford outstanding energy costs for over 30 years.
Event Guidelines
Complete a Team Registration Form and return it to our Caribou County office. You may pick up a Team Registration Form at our Caribou County office or download one from the link above.
All teams must have four members to participate. Entry deadlines vary from year to year, depending on when the event is scheduled. To return an entry form:

Team registration is now open. Registration costs are listed below:
- $300 Per Team ($75 Per Player)
- + Green Fees (Non-Oregon Trail Country Club Members Only) ($28)
- + Guest Lunch Fee (Guests Only) ($20)
Entry fees include entry into the tournament (an 18-hole round of golf), a goody bag, and breakfast and lunch. Only 18 teams (72 players) may enter the Project Warmth Classic. Teams are entered into the tournament on a first-come, first-served basis.
Guests are welcome. Teams with guests must include their guest’s name on their entry form and include payment for their guest’s breakfast and lunch.
Payouts & Prizes
The best performing teams will receive the following payouts:
- 1st Place Gross/Net: $400 in Oregon Trail County Club Gift Cards ($100 Per Team Member)
- 2nd Place Net: $300 in Oregon Trail County Club Gift Cards ($75 Per Team Member)
Additional prizes will be awarded to men and women who perform the longest drive, the longest putt, and land closest to pin. Lastly, golfer and non-golfer raffles, including the Hot Hand Raffle, will take place before the winning team is announced.
Sponsorships and Support
The Project Warmth Classic further serves as an excellent opportunity for sponsors to not only grow and expose their brand but also connect with our community in a meaningful and impactful way. Our event is popular locally, and our marketing efforts for last year’s event reached nearly 10,000 people located throughout southeast Idaho and beyond. And, as always, in-kind and monetary donations are tax-deductible.
To support this year’s event, you may:
- Make a Non-Monetary Donation – Support attendees with food, beverages, and raffle prizes.
- Become a Hole Sponsor – A $150 minimum is required.
- Become a Team Sponsor – This option includes a team. A $300 minimum is required.
- Become an Event Sponsor – A $300 minimum for non-public utility corporations is required; a $500 minimum for public utility corporations is required.
