Invitation to Bidders

Southeastern Idaho Community Action Agency, Inc. (SEICAA) is accepting bids for 1,201 and 1,488 square-foot single-family home construction in the Agency’s Alpine Crossing subdivision project in Chubbuck, Idaho. The project utilizes U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Section 3 guidance and regulations. Successful bidders must provide proof of liability insurance and workers compensation coverage at the time of contract signing. Bid packages are due to SEICAA no later than end-of-day July 14, 2024.

General Information

Made possible through partnerships with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Self-Help Homeownership Opportunity Program (SHOP) and Idaho Housing and Finance Association, SEICAA’s Self-Help Housing team is prepared to enter Alpine Crossing’s second phase. The program, administered by SEICAA’s Development division, celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2024, and is on track to have helped 100+ families obtain homeownership.

Project Description

Homes constructed in SEICAA’s Alpine Crossing subdivision project are for families who qualify for the Self-Help Housing program at 80% AMI and can contribute labor contribution (sweat equity) towards their home’s construction. Scope of work includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Electrical Work
  • Plumbing
  • HVAC
  • Insulation
  • Siding
  • Drywall
  • Flooring
  • Cabinetry
  • Finishing Work
  • Vinyl Fencing
  • Landscaping
