The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare and SEICAA want you to be aware of the upcoming hearing for Idaho’s LIHEAP State Plan.

PURPOSE:  This Public Hearing Notice solicits comment on the proposed use and distribution of LIHEAP funds during Federal Fiscal Year 2026, as detailed in Idaho’s LIHEAP State Plan.

PUBLIC HEARING SCHEDULE: A public hearing on the LIHEAP State Plan will be held Thursday June 26th, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The public hearing will be presented via teleconference:

The LIHEAP State Plan will be available for review beginning June 10, 2025, at the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, Division of Welfare, 450 West State Street, 2nd floor, Boise, ID.  You may also review the Plan on their website.

PUBLIC COMMENT: Anyone may submit written comments regarding Idaho’s LIHEAP State Plan. The public comment period will begin on June 10th – July 3rd, 2025. Written comments must be postmarked no later than July 3, 2025. Comments may be mailed or delivered to:
