Offering More Than Just A Meal
SEICAA invites you to join us on March 8th at St. Anthony Place to celebrate 60 years of serving meals to seniors!
It’s true: We have been serving meals to seniors in Bannock County since 1963, long before national senior nutrition programs were established. The volunteerism and our supporters’ desire to aid local seniors with noon meals helped inspire our incorporation into the National Community Action Partnership. Needless to say, senior services are integral to SEICAA’s framework, and we will strive to continue offering “more than just a meal.”
SEICAA Meals on Wheels’ 60th Anniversary Celebration kicks off with a ribbon cutting ceremony to commemorate the occasion. We will share the division’s recent accomplishments and hints of what’s to come. The event will conclude with a dual-proclamation from Mayor Blad of Pocatello and Mayor England of Chubbuck naming March 2023 March for Meals Month in honor of the Meals on Wheels America campaign. Food will be provided.
