SEICAA’s Chief Executive Officer, Shantay Bloxham, announced her departure from SEICAA last week.

From SEICAA’s Board of Directors

SEICAA and its Board of Directors, with mixed emotions of sadness and gratitude, are announcing that Shantay Bloxham, our CEO, is leaving to start the next chapter of her career. Since 2007, Shantay has played a critical role in the development and success of the organization.
We are saddened to see her leave but are so grateful for her tireless efforts that resulted in positive outcomes for the entire southeastern Idaho community. Shantay leaves a lasting impact on countless participants across southeastern Idaho, and this number doesn’t include families, staff, and others who were also impacted through her efforts in leadership.
“It has been my great honor to lead an organization comprised of such highly dedicated and skilled Board and team members. I am truly heartened by where SEICAA sits right now,” said Bloxham. “There will always be challenges, but that fact that I feel SEICAA is poised to enter an exciting period in its history helped me make this difficult decision”.
The Board of Directors has ratified that past CEO, Debra Hemmert, be named Interim CEO, effective May 23, 2022. During the search and selection period, it is our focus to ensure that broad input is received to naming the best individual to lead, while maintaining a stable and effective organization.
“Shantay has developed and led a highly skilled and dedicated team, each who play an integral role in SEICAA’s success,” said Kathy Anderson, Chair of the Board of Directors. “We will miss Shantay, but she leaves SEICAA in a very strong position and we sincerely thank her for her vision, leadership and contributions”.
Sincerely,
Kathy Anderson, SEICAA Board Chair
