Program Information
Select Home Services is a new SEICAA Development program. Experienced and licensed contractors help community members start and finish light household projects at a competitive rate.
Program Guidelines
Select Home Services is a Class A General Contractor (#RCE-3450) who operates in the Pocatello and Chubbuck area. Potential participants must be a homeowner; rental properties are not eligible.
Participants are encouraged to contact Select Home Services with a project description detailing the work to be performed. Taking certain factors, such as liability issues and the size of the project, into consideration Select Home Services may accept the project or refer participants to another contractor. Some examples of acceptable projects include:
- Light Electrical Work (bulb replacement, fixture installation, etc.)
- Light Plumbing Work (caulking, faucet replacement, etc.)
- Light Construction Work (limited wall repairs, hand rails, etc.)
If a project is accepted, a Select Home Services contractor will visit the participant at their home and provide an estimate for the project. At the contractor’s discretion, a project may require a 50% down payment to gather materials. If the participant accept the estimate, work on the project may begin.
