Program Information

SEICAA’s You’ve Been Flocked! Flamingo Fundraiser is a light-hearted effort whose proceeds benefit SEICAA’s Bingham County office, particularly its emergency assistance funds. The effort challenges its participants – hereafter referred to as victims – to donate to SEICAA to rid their lawn, storefront, or yard of a flock of plastic flamingos.

Program Guidelines

SEICAA’s You’ve Been Flocked! Flamingo Fundraiser is exclusive to Bingham County. SEICAA staff place a flock of plastic flamingos and a “You’ve Been Flocked!” sign at an initial location to start the effort. Once flocked, the victim may donate any amount to SEICAA to remove the flock of plastic flamingos. If the victim makes a donation, they choose where to send the flock next; if not, SEICAA will remove the flock free of charge after a day or so. Victims are encouraged not to damage the flock.

To make a donation, victims must complete a donation form inside an envelope attached to the “You’ve Been Flocked!” sign.

SEICAA’s You’ve Been Flocked! Flamingo Fundraiser is a month-long effort that runs from the first day of August to the last. New and continuous supporters alike are invited to play along each year. For more information, contact SEICAA’s Bingham County office at (208) 785-1583.
